Composition of Council
THE COUNCIL FOR DEBT COLLECTORS
The Council has been established by the Debt Collectors Act 114 of 1998 to regulate the occupation of debt collector. The Act came into operation on 7 February 2003.
Council Members
In terms of section 3 of the Act the Council must consist of not more than 10 members appointed by the Minister of Justice and Correctional Services for a period not exceeding three years.The composition of the Council is as follows
